Told what? Cite what? They dont operate, or drill, or own the land. They said they only have working interest, and they dont know exactly how much. Get educated on basic oil production so you can answer your own questions.

Working interest means they have nothing to do with day to day operations or decision making. They are like basic shareholders. They dont get to vote on anything though usually.
