The Field Report is an internal communication device for the company to relay information to it's shareholders.

The Press Release is a public communication devise to generate publicity for the company based upon what it has accomplished.

It's useful to distinguish the intent of and the difference between the two.

The wise investor takes advantage of the opportunities presented within that matrix. Or not.
