(OTCBB:NNAN) (Frankfurt:N3N) (www.naturalnano.com), announced today theissuanceof a US patent covering methods for optimizing the processes used to incorporateNaturalNano's Halloysite Natural Tubes (HNTs) in polymers. US Patent 7,888,914 covers the methods NaturalNano developed to optimize HNT performance over a wide array of plastic manufacturing processes.

Use of HNTs in traditional plastics manufacturing processes requires specialized treatment of the raw materials and use of surface-treatment chemistry to further improve physical properties. NaturalNano has developed a two-stage "master batch" process for theincorporation of HNTs that provides more uniform mixing and distribution.This in turn increases performance of components, adhesives, and other coatings manufactured under this process.
