Since the PR indicates "development work", does this include future construction and production of a mine?
I doubt it because the cost of a 1M tonne/yr mine is estimated to be north of $700M. A 5M tonne/yr mine is a lot more I imagine.

Is it possible for Allana to produce rather than allow itself to be taken over by senior mining company (ie. BHP)?
It could go either way or they could even JV w/ a major. I hope they JV or go it alone. It might take longer but we'll do really well.

"future potential strategic acquisitions" - does this mean it will possibly acquire other mining companies?
I took it as acquiring other properties/claims but I guess that could happen. I don't see how acquiring a company with property in the area benefits Allana.
