ronnie,

all compenstion issues aside, whether right or wrong.

1st, before this current compensation system, the complaint was the options and not expensing them, well they are expensing it all now, not many companies are doing that.

2nd and most important imo, you don't want a nasty proxy battle at this time to try and oust the COB. if there is anything that WS hates the most, it is uncertainty. if you think the SP is low at this time, let a proxy fight start, imo, you will see 5's again. look at the price now, uncertainty about nok and sam is imo depressing the price at this time.

imo, if idcc can get nok and sam resolved, i would bet dollars to donuts that harry will find someone to replace himself and he will fade away.

the worst thing that can happen at this juncture is a huge shake up in mgmt. the price would plunge and any and all negotiations with any potential licenses would end, imo. if that happens, you would only have yourself or who ever starts the campain, which i am sure is coming, to blame. remember the little "AD" that was placed by persons "unkown" about the stock options that was "worded" incorrectly. major damage was done even though there was a "correction" printed later.

if that is what you want at this time, then you will reap what you sow. let them finish nok and sam. then you and corp and espy and whoever else thinks they are a better armchair "ceo's" "cob's" and understands the wireless ipr business better than the ones there, then you can try and create your own "perfect mgmt team".

first inkling of that happening, and me and a whole lot of others will be out of this thing in a flash. you can justify it all you want, long term shareholder value, etc, etc, but imo, you may get a new definition of "long term" if a proxy battle arises at this ASM.
