That is not true. Here is a clear example of corporate hijacking and making unregistered offerings and sales of shares.

You were responding to this:

Any shares of EIGH have to be issued through the EIGH transfer agent and approved by the EIGH CEO.

OA is entirely correct. If it was the intention of the owners of the 8000inc.com site to hijack EIGH, they'd have had to take over the company's Nevada incorporation and then convince the TA that they were really in charge, or no stock could have been issued.

In early October 2009, EIGH was indeed in default (or perhaps even revoked) in Nevada. So it would have been possible for an unknown entity to pay the fees and have the company reinstated. Did that happen? The corporate records were indeed brought up to date, and the company reinstated, on 21 October:

http://nvsos.gov/sosentitysearch/corpActions.aspx?lx8nvq=Lnl%252fNqoL5Ivna5oomD1cnw%253d%253d&CorpName=8000%2c+INC.

It was at that time that Thomas Kelly replaced Conrad Wall as EIGH's sole officer. Was this a "hijacking"? I don't really think so. There may have been some kind of power struggle between Bryant (who put Kelly in office) and Wall, but Wall is still involved with the company, so my guess is that they came to some kind of agreement.

What of the 8000inc.com site? On 25 October the owners added a disclaimer noting that they were not associated with EIGH. Almost six months later, on 8 April 2010, an overlay was added, announcing that "phase I" of the deal had closed, and no new applications would be accepted. The "for sale" notice was added at some later date.

Who controlled the 8000inc.com site? We don't yet know. But no stock was issued in connection with the prospectus it advertised.

As to the very well known hijacking case you reference, the perps were able to get away with what they did for awhile because they created their own transfer agency, called Select American Transfer. If you're interested in learning more about all that, there's a board here at IHub:
