Windows 7 help!

We just purchased a new computer in my office and it has Windows 7.

So far I am hating it!!! I'm sure it's just the learning curve until I find out where everything is.

Right now the problem is with Outlook.

The computer is my boss's computer and he can't get his Outlook settings to stay the way he wants them. He likes the reading pane one way and I changed it for him but everytime he closes out of Outlook and goes back in again, it reverts to what it was before I changed it.

Is there a way to make the way he wants it be the default?
