MNTA/TEVA.....

After having time to think thru today's news and price action I have to ask.... Is today's news really new news or let me rephrase is today's news really bearish news for MNTA? We knew from Bill Marth that the FDA was going to provide Teva some sort of feedback by the end of January and they did. We now know this feedback isn't FDA approval but a deficiency letter. Most longs in MNTA expected and accurately predicted that the FDA would issue some sort of deficiency letter (since outright rejection is not provided).

So, MNTA is down 16+% today because the FDA issued a minor deficiency letter? If the deficiencies were truely minor why didn't Teva mention them in the PR? Also, after 7+ years of discussions with the FDA - is there any reason to still have minor deficiencies? One would think any truely minor issues would have been ironed out well before now.
