Several posters expressed an opinion that now that it is in writing in a PR, it is now something that we can hold the company to, more so than what was stated in an open house. I don't necessarily agree with this viewpoint. The safe harbor statement in PR's essentially means that there is no legal accountability to much of anything that was stated in the PR, particularly when the famous weasel words like "believes, "anticipates", "expects", etc are used. You don't have to look very hard in the world of penny stocks to find PR's full of statements of what a company expects, believes, or anticipates will happen, but never does actually happen, yet there is no negative consequence to the company or CEO for these statements.
I believe the safe harbor statement is intended to prevent us investors from suing the company. I have no intention of doing that. For me, this PR is a reassurance from Serge that this is a specfic plan that he intends to do. If he doesn't deliver by year's end, then I no longer have faith in him. It's as simple as that. The reason that I'm still here is because I trust him.
You can already click on a link to Serge's radio interview where he essentially says much of the same stuff that is in this PR, so there already documented evidence of most of it. Therefore, In my opinion, today's PR added very little value.
The majority of us like to be spoon fed, myself included. It's much easier and more official to see the PR in the company's website than it is to search for a link somewhere else. So, I do think this is valuable but certainly no home run.
In my opinion, a beter way to do this is through the Investor Relations section of the company website. You could have a "letters to shareholders" section, or a "weekly update", or whatever you wanted to call it, where more informal progress updates would be completely approprate. However, in my opinion, a PR should be reserved for more newsworthy events that you have completed, not events that you expect, anticipate, or hope will be completed.
I totally agree with you on this point. The only defense I can come up with would be possibly the company wants a continuing PR to prevent PPS from drifting down into the sub penny? I have no idea.
I know that there are many of you investors out there with a much larger stake than what I have and I would love to hear from you all on these matters as they are all excellent point of views from bly03. I made a decision to be an SVMI investor and thus far, I'm very content with the company's progress. With this stock, we don't need luck. We just need patience.
