While it's possible that someone looking to buy for less could sell a small amount to try and drop the price, with the constantly falling price over the last months, there would be some buying stopping the fall by now, IMHO. In addition, price manipulation generally only works if others pile in after a move. It's much harder to get true believers to sell into a drop (at worst, they'll hold, at best, buy more, choking off the fall) than to get momos and speculators to buy into an increase. When any movement upward is met with an increase in volume and a stall, it generally means shareholders (or possibly the company) are looking to reduce their position.
The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.
