Well firstly, if you move a mountain, someone's house is bound to get crushed. And do you know what the insurance rates are like in the mountain moving business??
As to Cain and Abel, people were new. While God could see them, he couldn't tell them apart. They all look alike to him. It's like going to Singapore.
