Studio executives presently completing negotiations with distributors for their recently completed feature debut, "Forget About It," the hot new comedy starring Burt Reynolds, Raquel Welch, Robert Loggia and Charles Durning, have now set July 15, 2004 for casting and pre-production on the new comedy "Dirty Love."

then on the 27 of September2004 they put out a PR saying that Kates is replacing BJ...shortly there after FAI goes back into the edit room. and to make a long story short they kiss and make up, put the movie back on a timetable to be released in Feb of 2005, but by Feb2005 they start having problems again and its taken off again.
I’m sorry but it’s (telling you its still being finished) a smoke screen. Now it very well may be in "Post Production" but it doesn’t mean that they are doing anything to it. It's just there to keep people from complaining about not putting a finished film out into circulation.
On the flip side of this...
BJ could be "finishing it up" by changing a few of the credits to reflect that its "his" movie and no longer BVHJ's...that of course is assuming that he now has complete control of FAI. Which we really don’t know at this time.
