NH was a red state and very independent for years. Then around 2000 many blue state massachsetts residents set up shop acroos the border in NH. They complained about Massachusetts high sales tax and state income tax and set up in nashua and manchester NH a state with neither tax. Unfortunately for those of us in NH, those people still continued to vote the same way and flipped the state blue. The south of NH is filled with ma workers who dislike the taxes and politics of mass, but, still vote that way. Lol
