Korea and Vietnam and we still don't learn so now we are killing off our young men and women in Afganistan and nobody can explain what the hell we are fighting for.
This God-for-saken country is between Pakistan and Iran, and none of the three can be trusted. This is a land that has been ruled by tribes for thousands of years and we think we can go in and change their government and our 74,000 troops over there are not going to change that! Afgan tribes have always resisted foreign invasions, even the Russians are smarter than us.

I'm sorry that the women there are treated as dogs but that is not my problem and they are treated much worse than the women in Iran.

We've been there since 2001 - way too long already.



At least Obama said he will get us out of there in July, only six more months to wait, but how many more of our young sons and daughters have to die before then.

Merkel is over there right now to decide when to withdraw their 4,700 troops. If Karzi fails to end the corruption, Germany is out of there. Been there 9 years already.

And Obama is trying to deal with the corrupt Karzai who I would not trust to shine my shoes! He and his brother will not give up their drug income and recently. It is believed that some 1BILLION dollars was taken out of Afgan and we don't even know if it was reconstruction funds.

Sure hope he knows more about Afganistan than he knew about closing Gitmo as he is way behind on that deadline.
