SB, I had the same reaction, until I reminded myself of two things:

First, there's room in this market for multiple vendors, in fact, in the early stages of market development it's actually a positive thing to have multiple vendors to validate a technology and let the " best of breed " emerge by natural selection. (in 1987 I worked with a vendor out of Columbus Ohio, a DEC partner called VitaLink who was one of the first IP router manufacturers, then in 1990 we switched to ACC routers and in 1994 to CrossComm, then Cabletron and Wellfleet/Bay Networks/Nortel before I began working with an up and commer named Cisco - those first four are gone now and only Cisco survives)

Second, WinMagic can't win a head to head "bake-off" with Wave when the subject is expanded beyond Windows Clients. No support for Linux, Hypervisors, or expanded features.

Yeah, I wish they weren't in the same newsletter but I'm not worried about them longer term, in fact I wish them well!
