Traded VECO today made money, shorted SHZ swing yesterday made money, shorted AIG today took a loss, VXX dead so made nothing on it, CREE lost some on the first entry, MIPS nothing much yet, bot some AIG $50.00 puts now and watching to short RDWR. EMS was watching on short but M&A could halt, GXDX same thing. BBY did absolutely nothing (as expected), so looked elsewhere.
Very mixed day, of course anyone can trade any day, but just like a race, there are good running days (75 degrees, dry, etc...) and bad ones (snow, ice, wind, etc...). Today there is shit on the ground and its raining.
There are two strategies for the most part (you can make up more obviously by integrating options, futures and commodity trades), going short equity or going long equity. Today was mixed, throughout most sectors and index ETFs.
