After explaining to David Denk that I had had 6 previous conversations with 5 different folks from the DEC over the course of 6 weeks, and there had been several different scenarios discussed as possibilities that could take place concerning the permits, I said I would appreciate it greatly if he could clarify what the current status was concerning both permits air and SW. First thing he said, was they will be required to have a solid waste permit, and the second was they were close to issuing the air permit. I have already explained the rest of my conversation several times. I asked how they could issue the air permit prior to the SW permit and that was when he told me the air permit could be issued with a stipulation. I asked Denk if that was the way he saw it playing out and he said yes.

Why at this point anyone wants to argue about what was said, really doesn't make any sense. But now, at this junction, the opinions on this board have been completely taken out of the equation as far as what will take place here in the next short while. Baring a complete reversal of what was stated by the man in charge in region 9, this is game on.
