The DEC claims they have made no specific representations that an air permit is forthcoming within a week. in fact, my feeling is that they would never represent to anyone any specific timeframe about a permit that is underway.

oh yeah????who did you talk with and when?..former mod or not makes no difference to me. I reported what I heard and reported who stated it to me. it makes no difference to me that 2 other folks heard it as well. they said within a few days. I asked if it could be as little as 7 and the answer was yes. maybe it will be 5 or 8 or 10 but the point was not missed by me that the permit is on the way.
