Please explain- What is "an '05 through '07 period" pertaining to bonuses to be expensed in '05? Anyone? TIA.

"The program has elements that relate to '04, '05 time period for which we have accrued in '04. And then starting 1/1/05 you have overlapping periods. So you have an '05 through '07 period. So in 2005 you have elements of two different periods of the program that get expensed" - what does this mean?

Does it mean that they are going to combine '05, '06, and "through '07" as a second period "that get expensed" in '05 i.e. they in effect will predetermine and accelerate the next 3 years ('05-'07) of bonuses to be pay themselves bonses in '05 in advance of performance instead of arrears?

This seems to warrant much further and detailed public explanation, IMO.

Anyone?
