The Monk's Den acquisition never made much sense to me. What would be the advantage to Monk? I can't really see one.

I've been told that the original plan was for EIGH to acquire CDIV. Then that was set aside in favor of the Den acquisition. I wonder if EIGH and Monk decided then just to use the "acquisition" for its publicity value, and then cancel it later...
