Last night is the calm before a very powerful storm arrives over the Pacific Northwest. A still developing and strong low will bring rainy and very windy condtions to the region. High Wind Warnings will be posted later tonight for the coast. Winter Storm Warnings will be posted for the Cascades.
Wind gusts late tomorrow for the coast will reach 60mph, Locally Portland and the valley may see winds to 45mph. Snow levels fall Thursday to below pass level and stay there for the rest of the week and into the weekend. One to Two feet of snow will be likely.
