SL - Excellent response. As I was initially reading through the article I actually wondered also if it would be more favorable to use the TCG-enabled CSP due to the MSCAPI and PKCS #11 specs being so common. Then I read the NTRU info and they made it sound so easy to write directly to the CTSS that it made me wonder if Wave's CSP could be replaced in this architecture. Then I realized that it really doesn't matter how the vendors will write their applications because Wave gives the CSP away anyway. The important part, and where the money really lies, is in who will be providing the backup and recovery services. And that is what I believe this relationship is about. As far as I know, NTRU is not in the Backup and Recovery business and that is good for Wave.

It will be interesting to see if anyone is able to figure out whether Wave's CSP is included in the CTSS. If that is the case, well then we're covered anyway. If not, I think our partnership with NTRU will allow us to provide the majority of services to the vendors.

Thanks,
Steve
