They do, because they have the most volume and volatility. The point was to show that the rules actually work for any stock (outside of maybe pennies... although, later, I looked at a penny stock I used to hold and lost a lot of money on, after it had gone up considerably. And wouldn't you know it, when I applied the rules to the chart, if I would have followed the 'rules' back then I would have gotten out with a significant profit instead of a loss).
