A classic fall pattern has developed across the Pacific Northwest. Another strong weather system is tracking into the region and will arrive this morning. Rainy and windy condtions can be expected for the Oregon Coast. WInd gusts at the beach will top 50mph. For Portland and the Willamette Valley I'm forecasting over .50" of rain.

I saved the best for last, the Cascades. Up to 18" of snow at resort elevation. Between 8" and 12" at lower elevations. Snow will accumulate at and above the 3,000ft level.
