I forgot that we went through massive deregulation in Texas about 2.5+ years ago. Just like California tried 10 years ago, just before Enron cooked the books while fleecing Californians.

It is pretty easy to sell power to the the grid in Texas now, as they have separated the grids from the power generating companies here.
