East winds are the weather story for much of the region today. Windy areas will see temperatures in the 60s... topping off near 70 later today. It is unusually warm outside this morning in the most of area suburbs in the wind zone. (60s!) Gusts will be near 35 miles per hour this morning in the city; near 45 mph in the Western Columbia River Gorge.

Sunny skies prevail both today and tomorrow. Overnight lows will drop back down to near 50 tonight when winds taper off. Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 60s. Our next chance of rain this week: Friday.
