"Are they Appealing without opposition" - IDCC is opposing the trial Judge (Lynn) and the Court's rulings.

Of course, Nok is an interested party and it falls on Nok to write the opposition, in support of the Judge's rulings. Nok is in position to do so, having written the briefs that moved the trial court to rule in Nok's favor.
