The longer they are able to convince people there is a short position, the longer they can artificially inflate their stock price. Sit back and think about the circumstances here. There are thousands of stocks out there. If a group of people are making it more difficult to short this stock and take advantage of it, why wouldn't they just move on to another stock that doesn't have those difficulties? It's all about the money. There are no shorts here and if there was, they are long gone. Think it through people.
