Meridian Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement for Japan Valued at $8 million (USD) Over 5 Years

October 12, 2010 - Meridian Co. Ltd. (OTC: MRDAF) is pleased to announce that it has signed an exclusive five-year distribution agreement for Japan with a Japanese distributor, MAKE Co., Ltd. that was established in September 1988, employs a staff of 28 people and has the website www.bs-make.com.

MAKE Co., Ltd. is the exclusive distributor of the Lapex 2000 BCS (LipoLaser) in Japan and will immediately market the product through its extensive sales channels. The Lapex 2000 BCS (LipoLaser) was designed to specifically address spot fat reduction (or inch loss) and aesthetic body contouring.

MAKE Co., Ltd. has placed its first order and is committed to placing the following minimum orders:

-50 units in the first year;

-50 units in the second year; and

-100 units every subsequent year to August 2015
