I use Stockcharts for charting and Stockfetcher for my scanning.

I use stockcharts because, as the name inplies, is excellent for charting. I use Stockfetecher because, again as the name inplies, is is excellent for scanning and fetching stocks quickly and simply. In addition, Stockfetcher has its own, excellent support group. Their responses are fast, accurate, friednly, supportive and I find that the president is totally open to new ideas.

I simply create my scans in Stockfetcher, punch in the results into a new list in stockcharts and off I go.

Is it a bit annoying to do it this way? Yes, but if you are a stockcharts users, you know that this is minor compared to the time it takes to figure out how to create an advance scan with stockcharts. Its even more frustrating in editing previously saved scans in Stockcharts.

If you are not familiar with either of these two vendors the address is as follows

Stockcharts:
http://stockcharts.com

Stock fetcher:
http://www.stockfetcher.com

both have a free users section that can give you a good sense of what they have to offer.

Thanks,
Scanman
