You are right, IMO. Some of the parties appear to not be following the rules. And where has that got them? An Equity Commitee was appointed, not a usual event in a chapter 11 reorg. That was followed by the appointment of an examiner, a rare event. Now we will get the examiner's report, and I think that may well be follwed by the appointment of a case trustee.

So it is not as if there have been no consequences to their scofflaw attitude.

And the way this case is being watched, by lawyers, a US Trustee, a solid judge (IMO), and some very saavy shareholders, I doubt that they would be so stupid as to try to put together a conspiracy with 13 or 14 people. The accumulation of a large number of shares into a such a small number of hands would both bid up the PPS condsiderably and attract an awful lot of attention from an awful lot of folks, many with badges. Not going to happen.
