what I think is unlikely to work is VRUS’ idea of a 2-drug cocktail consisting of only nukes.

It's important to point out that VRUS feels their dual nuke compound has the potential to be moved forward as a DAA. They haven't even picked which guanine nuke (either PSI-938 or PSI-661) they will pair with PSI-7977. It is also a misperception to think that they are not open to partnering other classes which I expect would be done on their terms.
