thanks for taking the time to actually put your thoughts down instead of just attacking mine. i don't agree with some of your points, but that is fair enough, as i know you don't agree with mine to a very high degree either. I could go through and dissect it, as you could to mine, but in this case maybe it is better to agree to disagree because it is a value system difference and no matter how flawless our logic is, neither of us is going to budge the other very much.

My bottom line is that i believe very few people don't want to succeed, and given the right opportunity and circumstance most would... even mentally handicapped people and the emotionally wounded. You seem to have a higher number in mind of those who don't want to succeed, and that all boats would float without the ones already successful not having to keep rowing harder. No big deal... just a philosophical difference.
