Jerry Williams [AKA Monk] has publicly presented himself as a former U.S. Navy Submarine officer holding a P.H.D.

I would be proud to present documents proving these representations.
If there are security issues regarding military service, then just a picture in full dress uniform showing ribbons and a gold dolphin would suffice.

Also a copy posted of a P.H.D. degree from the issuing institution would be helpful.

I don't see a problem with regards to either of these requests, at a minimum.
