If it noticeably slows your machine down when it runs a scan you might want to consider adding more RAM.

What version of McAfee are you running, is it new??? You could also schedule the scan to take place in the middle of the night when you are sleeping and don't need the machine.

"Sort of" is harmless "Sort of". Is a filler. But sometimes, "sort of" means everything. Like after "I love you" or "You're going to live" or "It's a boy".
