I also had to think when EIGH first announced it acquired whatever rights it did from Monk that an army of lawyers ran it past the "smell test." Having met Jerry and his team, I know them to be very intelligent. No question in my mind that Jerry understood the amount of scrutiny that he, personally, and this deal would get before he entered into it. Therefore, I have no doubt all the "i's" were dotted and "t's" crossed. He knew people were/are going to be looking hard at this and his tail would be in a wringer if it weren't legit.
As far as the rest of us "manipulating" the stock price illegally, it doesn't hold much weight with me. We're buying and holding to increase value. That's supply and demand. What's more- we're doing it out in the open- not secretively behind closed doors deceiving other investors. Really straight forward stuff.
