I suppose it might mean it isn't worth their while to track down someone willing to sell shares they don't have knowing that buy-ins are on their way. Why don't you call and see if you can't get a straight answer. They probably don't know either but talk to their trader and see if he'll make an educated guess. I assume it's just EIGH and nothing else in your account.
