There are three types of bashers.

1) Someone who is losing or has lost money. This same person will act exactly the opposite if they are making money.

2) Someone actually trying to influence a stock price.

3) Someone pretending that they can actually influence a stock price.

What to do about a number 1:

1) Praise their "stock genius".

2) Gently find out what stocks they have recently sold.

3) Buy those stocks.
