You should switch off your LPM ("lotto pennyplayer mentality") and think twice before entering into way too risky option plays imo... 
Look at the chart twice and better choose a ITM leap call instead of being greedy..LOL !
I learned my lessons several times aswell..believe me...
You can avg down a LEAP which went wrong, but you cant if theres no time left with a shortterm Option play went down !
