Check RB's posts 4217 &4218. Here's my 4219: Yes: depending on what percentage of manufacturing cost is driven by the freezing unit and how little it costs to get 3 or 4 outputs, this improvement could approach (but not reach) a cost reduction of 66 to 75%. Depending on how the cost accounting works out, it's likely that the company will be able to market its ice blasting capability for about half the price per operator compared to previous price that Ford already decided was a good deal. Not too shabby.
Most likely, some firms doing things like blasting barnacles off fiberglass boats won't be able to take advantage of multiple outputs, but -- in addition to manufacturers like Ford -- maintenance firms doing things like prepping bridges and other structures for repaint will be able to benefit.
