As usual, I don't do 1/100th the due diligence you are so adept at (i'm simply lazy). Thank you, I will ask him about the points you bring up.

That said, I've had excellent results with this particular ML broker so don't mind occasionally making a buy strictly on his say.
Seldom as it may be. The acct is filled with a variety of bonds throwing off income (reinvested) and a handful of the 'best' US company names with decent divi. (JNJ KO KFT VZ et al) I think it's pretty clear that with the shenanigans of wall st on everyone's mind, and the growing boomer population, less risky investments that pay out are a big and growing trend. I sure sleep better.
A number of well off people I know lost small fortunes in the market in the past 5 yrs and because they didn't add low, are feeling the pinch big time. I'd be a lot better off myself if I'd
have gone conservative in my 20's! And if I'd take the energy to learn about preferreds and selling calls and the like, as you 've so generously offered me a hand with.

I've been adding some performance parts to my lo mileage MINI S every so often, keeping it renewed and a blast to drive. There isn't any other 'fun car' out there that I long for. At any price. Most are just too overpowered for our roads and strict enforcement. 'Course it would be neat to add a Tesla to the stable;-0)

Silver and GOLD are finally resuming their march. I'm siding with CELENTE on those. Geez is he negative on the economy. Hopefully he'll be wrong!
