It's quite simple - impose similar regulations that are imposed on listed securities.

It's absolutely insanity to allow a publicly traded company to operate without regular oversight. The government removed the regulatory oversight from the individual states' securities commissions, which makes absolutely no sense, as the SEC does not have the resources to keep up with all the Bederra's out there.

There must be strict guidelines that have to be met to sell stock to the public, which includes AUDITED financials to be released on a quarterly basis for example - this alone would dissuade unscrupulous companies from coming into the marketplace, or would quickly expose those who operate mere shells, thereby delisting them in short order.

It's beyond me to think that these pinksheets operate with impunity - I'm delighted to know that Bederra is being investigated, but thousands of other similar companies are not!
