There's no question that the overall integrity of the market is in jeopardy, but, this as you know has no connection to the little guy.
Where one needs to look is at the top, and our fearless leaders is a good starting point. The rampant manipulation of the broader market is still in full swing, and this certainly is where the little guy gets left behind - add in the self-regulated pinksheets, and now you have a real problem!
I do agree with your sentiments regarding "Character" in general, but, it's not the public that I believe will bring back the integrity in the overall market. This is much more of a complex issue, and one that has global ramifications.
Our entire political system, along with our politicians must change in a dramatic fashion to cause a significant and meaningful change in the overall market. Unfortunately, money and power has been the sole driving force in our political system, and till this changes, I see no light at the end of the tunnel for the little guy.
Ultimately, I do believe that the public united can make a difference, as our forefathers wrote in our Constitution - the problem is, is that many of our current members of Congress have little regard for the Constitution, and believe that it's nothing more than antiquated multiple pages of paper.
In some regard I do believe that individuals, such as yourself can make a difference, evidenced by your tireless efforts. All that said, to make an impact in a significantly broader meaningful way will require the great majority of the people of this country uniting, and voicing their opinions and rights in a demonstrable and emphatic Constitutional way!
