I still do like Free Shares, DDCA and PPXO just fine but in the long run AIM is probably the best. overall.

AIM I understand. What are the other acronyms and the Free shares ideas that you mention? DDCA returns a whole lot of stuff in Pakistan and India and PPXO doesn't come up with much of anything.

Thanks for the additional info. BTW I like your idea of tying the SAFE to the volatility (or lack thereof) to the underlying investment. Clearly a one-size-fits-all approach is not going to be optimum.
