IBM was downgraded then it moved up, GE was downgraded and then it too moved up. CHKP looks like a potential for a longer term play. I always had good luck with it until first week in September when I just got stopped out and left it alone until now. There is no surety in this market, and what is certain is the lack of conviction, certainty and the "hamina-hamina" group that are giving you information after the fact. You might want to hold a small position or an option and like we did with INTC and YHOO add to it or go long the stock in the next few sessions.

What's happening in this market is its living on dog years (I mentioned this in 1999 and 2000)and that's when I decided I wasn't into investing. You can make more money in a day in this market than you can in a 2 years following the 'hamina-hamina' group that keep contradicting themselves. I have been keeping a diary of many 'predictions' from the powers that be during the last 6 months. All I saw was "we are too low to short" for the past 6 weeks and even more so during September.
