EI has difficulty paying it's debts let alone attys to go after some anonymous poster on some chat board...

and contracts??? what contract??? EI has no contract with matthews, they have a LOU and as basser always points out he would like everyone to read the LOU. so...where in the LOU are there penalties("very stiff penalties") for failure to comply with the terms of LOU? under the Exclusivity section of the LOU there is an interesting statement...

In the event Matthews fails to comply with the minimum repurchase requirements set forth in Section 1 hereof, Matthews’ rights with respect to the Products shall be non-exclusive for the duration of the remainder of the Term. Accordingly, in such event, Eternal Image shall have the option, but not the affirmative obligation, to re-purchase any or all units of the Products from Matthews at the original purchase price for such Products, to be delivered by a method of shipment and to destination determined by Eternal Image FOB Matthews’ warehouse. Risk of loss regarding said units shall forever pass to Eternal Image upon delivery to Eternal Image’s carrier.

it would seem that if matthews has no more success with a vatican product or a star trek product on this go around than was had the last time around with the same products, they can opt out and if EI is unable to buy the products back from matthews the LOU is history....
