The American Idol Live! Tour is off and running around the country, so all 10 performers — and season 9 finalists — have reason to smile. Especially runner-up Crystal Bowersox.
The singer, known on the show for her signature dreadlocks and gap-toothed grin, took a trip to the dentist before going on tour, a rep for 19 Entertainment confirms to PEOPLE, and her once missing tooth is now straight and sparkling.
For her part, Bowersox, who also split with her boyfriend before the Idol finale, took to her Twitter account to show off her new smile. “whats NOT missing in this picture?????? Yeah. That’s right,” she Tweeted alongside a snapshot on June 25.
Though she was largely praised by judges and fans for her musical abilities, at one point early in the Idol season, host Ryan Seacrest may have made an insulting comment about her teeth. Still, Bowersox, 24, said there were no hard feelings and “no beef” between her and the Idol host. – Alison Schwartz and Cynthia Wang
