One other thing about not allowing anyone to see the machine for security purposes...while the technology may be patent protected it is very expensive to fight a legal battle over patent infringement. Much better to keep the technology under wraps rather than risk patent infringement. there are many cases in American business where a company will not patent a product just to keep the technology a secret.
