Yeah, I noticed that. It was about a 9th grade level speech. But, considering some of my fellow Americans, that might be about as complex as it should be. He almost sounded like a Democrat, and it was nice to see the Democs acting more civil than the Repubs did with Clinton. They would sit there and pout the whole time. However, if the Democs want to win the House and Senate in 2002, and the White House in 2004, then they need to stop selling out and get back to their roots. I want to be a Democ, but I will not vote for them until they get real on issues like the FWOD, censorship and the environment. If they loose again, look for the Greens to continue to grow exponentially. Bush spoke like a Democ, but the devil is in the details. I thought that his Faith-Based BS spill were the silliest and most obscure points that he made tonight. And, the Repubs seemed to give him a standing ovation on every other syllable. It wasn't a Great speech by a long shot. Kinda reminded me of a used car salesman's pitch...
