happened to come across an industrial natural gas fired drying system today......could not help but think of JBII


note the "afterburner" for controlling emissions, a "regenerative thermal oxidizer" system running at 1636 deg F.....also notice there are separate readouts for the different sections of the drying unit....



this is actually small potatoes compared to some of the configurations I have seen at other plants in the past.......the top pic are the gas fired "ovens"


warning sign on the burner units....the irony did not escape me....
